JEE
What is JEE Exam?
JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a prestigious national-level entrance examination conducted in India for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (B.Tech/B.E.) at renowned Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other centrally funded technical institutions.
The JEE exam is divided into two stages:
- 1. JEE Main: The first stage of the JEE exam is conducted twice a year (in January and April) by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Main is a qualifying exam for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other participating engineering institutions nationwide. It is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced.
- 2. JEE Advanced: One of the IITs conducts the second stage of the JEE exam. Only JEE Main candidates are eligible for JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the gateway to admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top engineering institutions.
