What is KCET?
Karnataka Common Entrance test. It is a state level entrance test.
Why KCET?
PUC Science students must appear for this examination to secure Medical, Engineering, Architecture, B.Sc in agriculture and other undergraduate courses in Karnataka based on their ranking. To secure seat in different colleges of Indian they students should write NEET for Medical seat and JEE for Engineering seat, NATA for Architecture.
How many exams?
For PUC Science students with combination PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) there are 4 exams
For PCMC,PCME students there are only 3 exams(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
Exam Pattern, Duration, Marks
Each paper has 60 MCQs with no negative marking
Duration : 60(for exam)+20(for hall ticket & exam process) minutes.
